The invention discloses a scissor-type folding airfoil without a power source, an unfolding method of the scissor-type folding airfoil and an aircraft, belongs to the technical field of aircraft design, and aims to simplify the structure of the folding airfoil and improve the unfolding speed and stability of the airfoil. A first airfoil of the folding airfoil has a first centroid offset by a predetermined distance with respect to an axis passing through a center of the rotating shaft in a length direction of the first airfoil; a second airfoil of the folding airfoil has a second centroid offset by a predetermined distance with respect to an axis passing through the center of the rotating shaft in the length direction of the second airfoil such that when the upper airfoil and the lower airfoil are in a folded state, the first centroid and the second centroid are arranged substantially symmetrically on both sides of an axis passing through the center of the rotating shaft in the length direction of the two airfoils. Overload force of the launching initial section is fully utilized, and the folding airfoil has the advantages of being simple in structure and light in weight.
