The invention discloses a device and a method for reducing the combustibility of a fuel tank through an environmental control cooling system, and belongs to the technical field of fire prevention andexplosion prevention of aircraft fuel tanks. In the device of the invention, high-pressure air of an engine compressor in an environmental control cooling system is expanded and cooled in a turbo expander after passing through a filtering device, a heat exchange device and a water removal device; and one part of cold air enters a cabin and is subjected to temperature adjustment, and the other partof cold air fills the gas-phase space of a fuel tank to reduce the temperature of a gas mixture to condense the fuel steam in the gas mixture so as to reduce the concentration of the fuel steam in the mixture, so that the concentration is lower than a combustible limit, and the combustion explosion of the fuel tank is prevented. According to the invention, on the premise that an onboard nitrogengeneration inerting system is not installed, the combustibility of the fuel tank can be reduced, the safety of an airplane is protected, the weight of the airplane is reduced, and the fuel compensation loss is reduced.

    本发明公开了一种利用环控制冷系统降低油箱可燃性的装置及方法,属于飞机燃油箱防火防爆技术领域。本发明的装置中,环控制冷系统中发动机压缩机高压空气经过过滤、换热以及除水装置后在涡轮膨胀机内膨胀降温,一部冷空气进入座舱进行温度调节,另一部分冷空气充入油箱气相空间降低气体混合物温度,使气体混合物中燃油蒸气冷凝,从而降低混合物中燃油蒸气浓度,并使其低于可燃界限,防止油箱燃烧爆炸。本发明在不安装机载制氮惰化系统的前提下可降低油箱可燃性,保护飞机安全,减轻了飞机重量,降低了燃油代偿损失。
