The invention relates to a collision energy absorption mechanism and a vehicle. The collision energy absorption mechanism comprises a fixed support and an energy absorption device installed on the fixed support; the fixed support is made of a metal material; the energy absorption device comprises an energy absorption plunger and a shell; the shell comprises an inner wall and an outer wall which are oppositely arranged, and a side wall is connected between the inner wall and the outer wall; the side wall, the inner wall and the outer wall jointly define a closed hydraulic chamber; one end of the energy absorption plunger is telescopically connected to the interior of the hydraulic chamber and is used for dividing the hydraulic chamber into two cavities, the other end of the energy absorption plunger is arranged outside the hydraulic chamber in a protruding mode, and the energy absorption plunger is provided with a buffer structure capable of enabling oil in the hydraulic chamber to circulate between the two cavities. When oil liquid circulates between the two cavities, kinetic energy is converted into heat energy, collision energy is consumed, and therefore the buffering and energyabsorbing effects can be achieved, and the risk that the life safety of passengers is injured is reduced.
