The invention discloses an electric vehicle battery abnormality detection method and device, intelligent equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the steps of obtaining charging data of anelectric vehicle; determining whether the charging data has preset charging curve characteristics or not, the preset charging curve characteristics comprising pulses with amplitudes greater than or equal to a preset amplitude threshold, and the number of the pulses being greater than or equal to a preset number threshold, or the proportion of the total pulse number of the pulses in a set period of a charging stage reaching a preset percentage; and if the charging data does not have the preset charging curve characteristics, judging that an electric vehicle battery is abnormal. According to the invention, abnormality of the electric vehicle battery can be detected, whether the electric vehicle battery is abnormal or not can be timely known, the potential safety hazards in a charging process can be reduced, and the safety of the electric vehicle charging process can be improved.
