The invention relates to the technical field of folding mechanisms. The invention further discloses a manual seat folding mechanism of a scooter. The problem that an existing folding bicycle cannot befolded or is folded irregularly such that the folded bicycle is large in size and is not portable is solved. The manual seat folding mechanism comprises a seat plate, wherein the lower end of the seat plate is connected with a mounting plate. A backup plate is pressed downwards to drive a support rod to rotate; under the action of a connectingrod, a connecting piece drives the locking rod to rotate; meanwhile, the connecting piece pushes the two sliding blocks to slide forwards along a first sliding rail and a second sliding rail; the locking rod is driven by the two sliding blocks to slide, so that the locking rod is clamped with the lower locking block, thus, the mechanism is folded and pulls the backup plate upwards when unfolded until the locking rod is clamped with the upper locking block, the whole folding bicycle can be folded or unfolded through the structure, the storage space is saved, and the folding bicycle is convenient to carry.
