The invention provides a deriving device, a deriving method and a storage medium which can fully and effectively use various information to derive the information related to the capacity of a secondary battery. The deriving device includes an acquirer configured to acquire a capacity retention rate and an output retention rate of the secondary battery that is configured to supply power for the traveling of a vehicle, and a deriver configured to derive the information on the capacity of the secondary battery by using the capacity retention rate and the output retention rate.
