The embodiment of the invention provides a large empennage deicing wind tunnel test device and method. The device comprises an ice shape measuring device (4), a box section false part structure (6) and a side plate device (10). The box section false part structure (6) is connected with the front edge (8) of a tested electric heating assembly; the side plate device (10) clamps the box section falsepart structure (6) and the front edge (8) of the tested electrified heating assembly in the middle of a wind tunnel; and the ice shape measuring device (4) is clamped on the frozen front edge (8) ofthe electric heating assembly and is used for measuring the ice shape on the front edge (8) of the electric heating assembly. The device adopts an integral box section structure form, and is simple instructure and easy to process and assemble.
