The invention relates to the field of unmanned aerial vehicle transportation and launching recovery, and discloses an automatic locking and unlocking mechanism for a lifting platform. The mechanism comprises an upper part and a lower part, the upper part comprises an embracing ring, a rotating shaft, a torsional spring and an outer frame, the two ends of the rotating shaft are fixed to the outer frame, the torsional spring sleeves the rotating shaft, and the embracing ring is opened towards the two sides around the rotating shaft under the torsional spring force of the torsional spring; the lower part comprises a limiting groove and a supporting seat, and the limiting groove is fixed on the supporting seat; and the upper part is connected with a tray of the lifting platform through the outer frame, and the lower part is connected with a bottom fixed platform of the lifting platform through a supporting seat. The locking mechanism is divided into the upper part and the lower part whichare respectively connected with the moving tray and the bottom fixed platform of the lifting platform; and the torsional spring and the limiting structure are used to make the upper part and the lowerpart complete contact and separation by lifting of the platform tray in order to realize closing and opening of the embracing ring, so the requirements for automatic locking and unlocking are met, anadditional automatic control mechanism is not needed, and cost is reduced.
