The invention provides an Internet of things vehicle management system utilizing the new generation optical communication technology. The management system comprises vehicle management equipment and a vehicle limit device. Communication information is modulated in vehicle light, after the vehicle light is detected by a monitoring device, the light is demodulated through a demodulation module, the communication information sent by the vehicle can be acquired, the communication information is processed through a preset step, whether a preset condition is satisfied is determined according to the processing result, if the preset condition is satisfied, the vehicle is let go or stopped by the vehicle management equipment through control on the vehicle limit device. In the mode, light information communication between vehicle lamps and the vehicle management equipment is utilized to realize management on the vehicle.
