The invention relates to a rotation hydraulic control system and method and a crane. The rotation hydraulic control system is used for achieving hydraulic control over a rotation motor (2) and comprises a hydraulic control stop valve (7), a rotation buffering reversing valve (1) and a rotation motor brake (4), wherein the rotation buffering reversing valve (1) is arranged on an oil supply circuit of the rotation motor (2) and used for opening and closing oil supply to the rotation motor (2) and switching the oil inlet and returning directions; the hydraulic control stop valve (7) is arranged on oil ports of the two sides of the rotation motor (2) in a parallel connecting mode, and control ports of the two ends of the hydraulic control stop valve (7) are communicated with a brake oil path of the rotation motor brake (4) and a valve front oil port of the rotation buffering reversing valve (1) respectively and can be opened or closed according to the pressure relationship between the brake oil path and the valve front oil port. The rotation hydraulic control system and method and the crane can effectively improve the stability of the stopping process of a rotation system.
