The invention discloses a normally-closed-type electromagnetic jaw clutch and a single-motor hybrid power system. The normally-closed-type electromagnetic jaw clutch comprises an annular electromagnet, an annular armature, an elastic reset member, a movable contrate gear and a fixed contrate gear. According to the technical scheme, by controlling two clutches to be switched off or on, the single-motor hybrid power system can switch between different working modes; compared with a conventional dry clutch, the normally-closed-type electromagnetic jaw clutch is characterized in that the jaw clutch is short in axial size, light in weight, small in occupation space, large in transmission torque and quick in motion and the like; compared with a conventional jaw clutch, the normally-closed-type electromagnetic jaw clutch is characterized in that the movable contrate gear is directly coupled to a motor main shaft, the fixed contrate gear is directly coupled to an automobile driving shaft, and the normally-closed-type electromagnetic jaw clutch is highly integrated; local shapes of the specially-designed annular armature and annular electromagnet enable the electromagnetic force approximately being in direct proportion to the current during the attracting process, and therefore the attracting process is smooth and controllable, furthermore, the mode conversion process of the single-motor hybrid power system is smooth and controllable.
