The invention relates to a real-time docking airplane capturing method and system. The method comprises the steps of scene setting in which a station site is divided into a capturing area, a guiding tracking area and an accurate positioning area according to guiding and stopping lines of a docking airplane, and a laser scanning system is used to scan barriers near the guiding line to ensure the docking safety of the airplane and avoid that the barriers are determined to be the airplane by mistake in the guiding process; moving object capturing in which the laser scanning system is used to scan the capturing area continuously, a present scanning row is compared with a pre-frame scanning parameter to determine whether a moving object exists, and if the scanning parameters of two adjacent frames at the same position are greater than a threshold, it is determined that the moving object appears in the capturing area; and airplane state detection in which whether the captured moving object is the airplane is detected, and the docking state of the airplane is judged so as to determine whether to start tracking and guiding for the airplane.
