The invention discloses a variable pitch gearbox hoisting tool for a wind generating set. The variable pitch gearbox hoisting tool comprises a sling frame structure, a first fixing piece, a second fixing piece and a handrail. The sling frame structure is a C-shaped structure. The first fixing piece and the second fixing piece are arranged at the two ends of the top of the sling frame structure respectively. The second fixing piece penetrates the top of the sling frame structure. The second fixing piece and the top of the sling frame structure are detachably arranged. The handrail is arranged at the bevel of the bottom of the sling frame structure. The handrail is of an A-shaped structure. A fixing block is arranged at the open end of the bottom of the sling frame structure, and the bottom of the fixing block is connected with a lifting hook. A tool structure capable of easily installing a variable pitch gearbox deep into a hub cavity is designed. A hanging rope can be replaced according to variable pitch gearboxes of different weights, and therefore one sling frame structure can be suitable for installing the variable pitch gearboxes of different weights, and the purpose of saving the installing cost input is achieved.
