The invention provides an extension ladder guardrail. The extension ladder guardrail comprises a guardrail body and a safety limiting device connected with the guardrail body. The guardrail body comprises an installation vertical plate, a fixed vertical plate, a fixed transverse plate and an installation base plate. The installation vertical plate and the installation base plate form a groove space. The fixed vertical plate and the fixed transverse plate are arranged inside the groove space in a crossed manner. A toe guard is arranged on the upper surface of the installation base plate. The safety limiting device comprises balancing weights, a spring, a connecting piece, a partition plate and a dual-contact switch. The balancing weights are stacked on the upper surface of one end of the connecting piece. The spring is clamped between the connecting piece and the partition plate. The other end of the connecting piece is arranged on the dual-contact switch in a contact manner. Due to the arrangement of the dual-contact switch, the safety limiting device can precisely control a circuit system to be switched on or switched off so as to ensure safety of a maintainer, and manufacturing and installation operation are easy.
