The invention relates to a marine component and in particular relates to a rudder with thrust fins. The rudder comprises a vertical rudder plate, wherein a rudder stock in running fit with a hull is arranged at the upper end of the rudder plate. The rudder is characterized in that the thrust fins are arranged at the two sides of the middle part of the rudder plate and are close to the leading edge of the rudder plate; and the outer ends of the two thrust fins are connected with vertical swash plates. The rudder has the advantages that as vortexes can not be generated at the outer ends of the thrust fins, the rudder can further recover the energy of the propeller race and has better boosting and energy saving effects.
