The invention relates to a safety device of a construction crane manned lift hanging basket. The safety device of the construction crane manned lift hanging basket comprises a manned hanging basket, two lift guide columns, a plurality of support transverse rods, a suspension lever and a torsion spring, wherein the manned hanging basket is respectively cohered with the two lift guide columns through a plurality of rollers, the support transverse rods are alternately welded between the two lift guide columns, one end of the suspension lever is connected with a lifting rope, the middle of the suspension lever and the bottom portion of the manned hanging basket form a fixed hinge, and the other end of the suspension lever points to the support transverse rods. The vertical distance of a rotary axial line of the fixed hinge to the support transverse rods in a horizontal plane is smaller than a distance from the rotary axial line of the fixed hinge to a hook end which is arranged on the suspension lever, and the suspension lever is acted by return force of the torsion spring. When the lifting rope breaks to enable the manned hanging basket to glide, one end of the suspension lever provided with a hook instantaneously falls on any one of the support transverse rods between the two lift guide columns through the return force of the torsion spring, thereby playing the role of preventing the manned hanging basket from going on to glide, and achieving safety effects.
