A stopping system for a mine car in a slope tunnel comprises a slope, wherein an operating track is arranged above the slope, the mine car is arranged on the operating track, and the front end of the mine car is connected to a winch through a main steel rope; a plurality of reinforced concrete cushion blocks are pre-buried in the slope, and hooks are arranged on the reinforced concrete cushion blocks; a plurality of angle steel pieces perpendicular to the mine car are welded at the bottom of the mine car, two holes are formed in each angle steel piece, an arrester wire is connected between the two holes, and a counterweight ball is further arranged in the middle of the arrester wire; front end arrester wires are mounted on two sides of the front end of the mine car, are connected to the main steel rope through lock catches and form an isosceles triangle with the front end of the mine car; the counterweight balls are connected and fixed to the main steel rope sequentially through an auxiliary steel rope, and the arrester wires and the angle steel pieces form isosceles triangles. When the main steel rope breaks, the front end arrester wires and the arrester wires fall towards the slope and strain with the hooks in a mine car sliding state, the mine car is effectively prevented from overturn and accelerated downward sliding, and the system is low in cost, convenient to mount and high in safety factor.
