The invention provides an energy management system for a hybrid power tramcar. The energy management system comprises a traction bus, a super capacitor, an accumulator, a fuel cell and a controller. The super capacitor is connected to the traction bus through a first bidirectional DC/DC converter. The accumulator is connected to the traction bus through a second bidirectional DC/DC converter. The fuel cell is connected to the traction bus through a control module. The control module comprises a diode, a first unidirectional DC/DC converter and a switch, wherein the switch is connected with the first unidirectional DC/DC converter mutually. A first common node of the switch and the first unidirectional DC/DC converter is connected with the traction bus and a second common node of the switch and the first unidirectional DC/DC converter is connected with the diode. The diode is connected with the fuel cell. The controller controls the energy transmission of the super capacitor, the accumulator and the fuel cell and the traction bus according to the state of a tramcar to drive a traction motor.
