The purpose of the present invention is to further reduce the size of a pneumatic caliper brake device, and to reduce the load on sliding portions and rotary portions of brake levers. Base-side end parts (7b) of first brake levers (7) are rotatably attached to: a tip of a rod (5a) of a pneumatic brake cylinder device (5) attached to a base side (2a) of a caliper main body (2); and a cylinder end at a side opposite to where the rod (5a) protrudes. Central parts (7a) of the first brake levers (7) are rotatably attached to the caliper main body (2). Tip-side ends (8a) of second brake levers (8) are rotatably attached to tips of the caliper main body (2). Base-side ends (8b) of the second brake levers (8) are brought into contact with tips (7c) of the first brake levers (7). Brake heads (10) having brake linings (11) provided to inner surface sides thereof are attached to tips of pressing-force transmission members (9) provided to tip sides of central parts of the second brake levers (8). Tips of torque receiving pins (13) are fixed to the brake heads (10). Shaft parts (13b) are supported at a tip side of the caliper main body (2) via spherical washers (14).
