The invention provides a traffic condition information providing method and device and a server. The method comprises the following steps: receiving traffic condition data shared by an information provider; calculating corresponding truth parameters according to the traffic road condition data shared by the information provider, and judging whether the truth parameters are equal to or larger than a preset truth threshold value; and when the truth parameters of the traffic road condition data shared by the information provider currently are equal to or larger than the preset truth threshold value, updating a system database with the traffic road condition data, wherein the system database is used for providing corresponding traffic road condition data for a user searching for the traffic road conditions. The device is corresponding to the method. The traffic condition information providing method and device and the server having the device can provide real and reliable traffic status information for the users.
