The invention provides a step of an escalator and a die-casting method thereof. The step of the escalator comprises a supporting component, a footboard assembly and a rotating mechanism, wherein the supporting component comprises a pair of supporting frames and a supporting plate; the footboard assembly comprises a footboard surface and a kickplate; the rotating mechanism comprises a step main wheel and a step main shaft; the supporting component and the footboard assembly are integrated formed in a die-casting manner; a pressure induction counting controller is arranged at the lower end of the footboard surface and is fixedly connected with the footboard surface. The die-casting method of the step of the escalator comprises the steps of smelting, die-casting and cooling to produce the step of the escalator, wherein the cooling is namely that a thick-wall part and a thin-wall part of a die-casted blank are separated through a heat insulation plate and are correspondingly cooled in a gradient cooling manner. The step of the automatic escalator is firm in structure, light in weight, and high in die-casting consistency.
