The invention provides a construction elevator monitoring device which comprises a main monitoring unit and/or a plurality of slave monitoring units. The main monitoring unit comprises a control module, a wireless communication module, an RFID module, a GPRS module, an interaction output module, a manual input module and a power module. Each slave monitoring units comprises a control module, a wireless communication module, an RFID module, an interaction output module, a manual input module and a power module. The invention further provides a networking method and a communication method according to the monitoring device. The construction elevator monitoring device has the beneficial effects that a large number of wiring projects are not needed, so that the mounting efficiency of the monitoring device is greatly improved, and centralized monitoring management on an construction elevator is facilitated; the monitoring device integrates the function of field data collection and the function of gateway equipment; data bases are provided for management, maintenance, statistics, analysis and fault diagnosis of the elevator; and instructions delivered by an upper monitoring center can be issued efficiently.
