The invention discloses an elevator calling system and method based on the Bluetooth. The elevator calling system comprises a near-end Bluetooth base station, a far-end Bluetooth base station, a user terminal, a central server, an elevator group control subsystem and an elevator communication subsystem. The near-end Bluetooth base station is arranged at the position close to an elevator and sends near-end Bluetooth broadcast messages outwards; the far-end Bluetooth base station is arranged at the position far away from the elevator and sends far-end Bluetooth broadcast messages outwards; the user terminal is used for receiving the near-end Bluetooth broadcast messages and the far-end Bluetooth broadcast messages and obtaining change states of the distance between the user terminal and the elevator and current-floor information; and when the distance between the user terminal and the elevator becomes short, preset target floor information is obtained, and an elevator calling request is sent; the central server is used for receiving the elevator calling request and forwarding the elevator calling request to the elevator group control subsystem for elevator distribution; the elevator group control subsystem is used for carrying out elevator distribution and controlling and monitoring running of an elevator; and the elevator communication subsystem is used for carrying out communication between the central server and the elevator group control subsystem. According to the scheme, fast batch elevator calling is achieved.
