The invention relates to a box type foldable bicycle. A frame is composed of a first frame body and a second frame body. A tire connecting arm is arranged on the front side of the first frame body, the rear side of the first frame body is in embedded fit with the front side of the second frame body, and a transmission device is arranged in the second frame body, and comprises a first flywheel, a second flywheel, a third flywheel and a chain wheel. The first flywheel is connected with a pedal, the second flywheel is connected with a concentric shaft of the chain wheel, the third flywheel is connected with a rear tire, the first flywheel is in chain connection with the second flywheel, the chain wheel is in chain connection with the third flywheel, and a square is formed by the first frame body, the second frame body and the tire connecting arm. The box type foldable bicycle has the advantages that the bicycle can be folded to be of the size of a briefcase, is attractive, elegant and convenient to carry, under the condition that tires of the bicycle are 18 inches in size, the bicycle can also be folded, labor is saved in the riding process, and the bicycle is suitable for being used by big and tall people.
