The invention provides a wheel-edge motor assembly used for vehicle driving. The wheel-edge motor assembly comprises a motor shell. A first motor, a first speed reducer, a second motor and a second speed reducer are installed in the shell. The first speed reducer outputs the rotation of the first motor through an output shaft of the first speed reducer after speed reduction. The second speed reducer outputs the rotation of the second motor through an output shaft of the second speed reducer after speed reduction. Rotating shafts of the first motor and the second motor are arranged in parallel, and the first motor and the second motor are basically mounted in parallel horizontally in the shape of the Chinese character er. The output shaft of the first speed reducer and the output shaft of the second speed reducer are basically in the same axial direction and drive two oppositely arranged driving wheels in opposite directions. The first speed reducer and the second speed reducer are fixed shaft speed reducers. With the wheel-edge motor assembly, the width and the height of vehicle-mounted motor driving units can be reduced and the vehicle chassis system integration degree is increased.
