The invention provides a component service life notification device that provides a notification of the service life of a component ahead of time in order to prevent the service life of the component from expiring while at sea. A navigation device (component service life notification device) is equipped with a route setting unit, a navigation time calculation unit, a service life acquisition unit, and a notification unit. The route-setting unit sets a navigation route. The navigation time calculation unit calculates a scheduled navigation time for the route. The service life acquisition unit calculates an estimated service life of a component. A comparison unit compares a scheduled navigation time for arriving at a predetermined destination on the route set by the route-setting unit with an estimated remaining service life and outputs a comparison result. When the comparison result output by the comparison unit indicates that the estimated remaining service life is shorter than the scheduled navigation time, the notification unit issues a notification to that effect accordingly.
