The invention relates to the technical field of polyurethane synthesis, in particular to polyurethane used for preparing a load-bearing tire and a preparing method thereof. The polyurethane used for preparing the load-bearing tire is prepared from a component A and a component B according to the weight part ratio of 1:1-2; the component A is prepared from, by weight, 550-1000 parts of polyether polyol, 200-500 parts of diphenylmethane diisocyanate, 200-650 parts of plasticizer and 1-5 parts of catalysts; the component B is prepared from, by weight, 50-450 parts of amino-terminated polyether, 500-800 parts of polyester polyol, 200-500 parts of isophorone diisocyanate, 20-150 parts of cross-linking agents, 0.1-1 part of ultraviolet light absorber and 1-5 parts of antioxidant. The polyurethane is good in abrasion resistance, high in tearing strength and bearing capacity, low in density and easy to recycle, and pollution to the environment is avoided; the preparing method is simple and easy to implement, and easy to realize.
