The invention provides a vehicle-mounted fording depth detection and early warning apparatus. The vehicle-mounted fording depth detection and early warning apparatus comprises a water level height information acquisition module, a control module, a vehicle speed detection module, a display module and an estimation early warning module, wherein the control module is used as a core module to control the operation of the water level height information acquisition module, the vehicle speed detection module, the estimation early warning module and the display module, the estimation early warning module is used for processing and analyzing data acquired by the water level height data acquisition module, determining the water level height and judging whether the danger warning is needed or not. By adopting the vehicle-mounted fording depth detection and early warning apparatus, the fording depth height information of a vehicle can be acquired, and the water level height of a pavement on which the vehicle runs safely is early warned.
