A power battery control unit of the vehicle sends a battery electric quantity residual value to a whole vehicle multi energy control unit by a CAN wire in real time, and the whole vehicle multi energy control unit calculates and corrects energy consumption at present by collecting vehicle speed variation and accelerator variation information accumulated in set time, converts to a residual driving mileage and transmits to the instrument for displaying and outputting by the CAN wire. The instrument displays various pieces of information of the vehicle speed, gears, motor state, residual mileage, system fault and light state in an operation process of the electric vehicle in real time while indicating the charge residual electric quantity state of a main energy power battery and battery temperature to a driver, so that the driver can understand operation states of respective parts of the electric vehicle in a more timely and more intuitively manner, and the driving safety of the driver is ensured.
