The invention discloses an electric vehicle accelerator control method which is characterized in that: accelerator control is achieved through an electronic control compound pedal assembly of a controllable accelerator; during the gear shifting operation, a driver loosens an accelerator pedal and steps on a clutch pedal; the clutch pedal drives a rotating wheel arranged below the clutch pedal to move to further drive an upper rotating shaft arranged at the other end of a support plate to rotate, and a voltage sensor arranged on the upper rotating shaft converts a rotation signal to a clutch pedal electronic signal; a signal line sends the clutch pedal electronic signal to an accelerator control mechanism to control the fuel-injection quantity of the accelerator, so as to enable the fuel-injection quantity to quickly return to the basic fuel-injection quantity. The electric vehicle accelerator control method has the following benefits: the method is simple and effective, and the problems that the accelerator cannot quickly achieve the basic fuel-injection quantity during gear shifting operation in the vehicle driving process after the accelerator pedal is loosened, and the like, can be effectively solved.
