The invention belongs to the technical field of automobile parts, and particularly relates to an automobile engine hood which comprises a hood plate, wherein the hood plate adopts a double-layer structure and comprises a top-layer plate and an inside muffler orifice plate; the top-layer plate adopts a pyramid-type structure; the muffler orifice plate is an arc-shaped plate; a plurality of uniformly distributed conical noise reducing units are arranged between the top-layer plate and the muffler orifice plate; a layer of sound absorbing sponge is arranged on the inner wall surface of the top-layer plate; and a drainage pattern is formed on the outer wall surface of the top-layer plate. The automobile engine hood is simple in structure, relatively high in dust, water and oil resistance, and relatively good in sound absorbing and noise reducing performance.
