The invention relates to a multimedia air purification system for buses. The multimedia air purification system comprises a cloud server, a communication module, a master controller, a WiFi module, a video monitoring module, a memorizer, a locating module, a bus payment module, a display screen and an air purification system, wherein the master controller is connected with the communication module, the WiFi module, the video monitoring module, the memorizer, the locating module, the bus payment module, the display screen and the air purification system. The air purification system comprises a filtering device, an air ventilation device, a heat exchanger and an air quality detector. According to the invention, the multiple modules of the buses are integrated and are connected well, mutual utilization of the functions is achieved, the management difficulty is lowered, more requirements of passengers are met, better experience is brought to the passengers, the technicalization level and the intelligence level are higher, and the requirements of fast development of informatization and intelligentization are met better. The air purification system purifies the air of the buses and lowers harm of dust and tail gas to the passengers.
