The present invention provides a wire from being drawn out of a wire tensioning device for tire slip prevention even in the event of an erroneous operation or malfunctioning of the wire tensioning device during the travel of a vehicle. The control mechanism is provided with: a plurality of teeth portions formed on a wheel; a first locking tooth that engages the teeth portions to prohibit rotation of the wheel in a wire drawing-out direction; a second locking tooth that engages the teeth portions to prohibit rotation of the wheel in a wire winding direction; and a biasing means biasing at least one of the first locking tooth or the second locking tooth toward the teeth portions formed on the wheel. The mechanism is configured such that a first operation for switching from a second locking tooth engaged state to a first locking tooth engaged state with respect to the teeth portions formed on the wheel is performed by an operation for drawing out the wire wound on the wheel.
