The invention relates to an electronic violation identifying platform at a traffic intersection. The identifying platform comprises a CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide-Semiconductor Transistor) vision sensor, a detecting zone image slicer, a vehicle image slicer, a counter and an embedded processor. The CMOS vision sensor is used for acquiring an image in a straight running direction; the detecting zone image slicer is used for separating a detecting zone image from the image in the straight running direction; the vehicle image slicer is used for separating a moving vehicle image from the detecting zone image; the counter is connected with the vehicle image slicer and used for calculating the number of frames of the moving vehicle image at a preset red-light time; the embedded processor is connected with the counter and used for determining whether the vehicle runs the red light or not according to the counting result of the counter. Furthermore, an image sharpening processor is utilized to overcome the influence of haze weather on the image. Therefore, the electronic detection precision of vehicle violation can be ensured under various haze weathers.
