The element (1) has a passage opening (10) arranged in a central part of the element that exhibits thickness (D), where the plate exhibits thickness that ranges between 3.5 to 6 mm. A release region (5) is arranged in a region of the passage opening, and provided with a reduced thickness (DR) around height (HF) of the release region. The thickness of the release region is selected such that the passage opening is sectioned with the reduced thickness. The passage opening is provided with a relative movement preventing unit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a metal-fixation material feedthrough device for a device e.g. igniter of airbag or belt tensioning device, exposed to high pressure (2) a method for manufacturing a ring-or plate-shaped element (3) a method for manufacturing a metal-fixation material feedthrough device.
