The invention discloses a rail clamping device. The rail clamping device comprises a base, a pair of clamping tongs hinged to the base, a screw rod installed on the base, a nut arranged on the screw rod, a lantern ring arranged on the nut in a sleeving mode, a connecting rod connecting the lantern ring to the clamping tongs and a hydraulic motor. A turbine meshed with the screw rod is fixed to an output shaft of the hydraulic motor. The rail clamping device is characterized by further comprising an auxiliary locking device. The auxiliary locking device comprises an installation plate, an air cylinder arranged on the installation plate, a connecting plate connected with a piston rod of the air cylinder, a rack connected with the connecting plate and elastic compression parts arranged between the connecting plate and the installation plate. The rail clamping device is simple in structure and easy to manufacture and can firmly clamp a rail and does not loosen on the unforeseen circumstances of outage and the like, and the safety is high.
