The invention discloses an elevator traction machine. According to the technical scheme, the elevator traction machine is characterized by comprising a rotor and a stator fixed to the outside world; the rotor comprises a traction wheel which is integrally arranged; a rotating shaft is arranged on the rotor in a penetrating manner; a rear sealing bearing is arranged between the rotating shaft and the stator; a non-sealing bearing is arranged between the rotor and the stator; the two sides of the non-sealing bearing are sealed through oil seals; a first channel through which an oil cavity of the non-sealing bearing and the outside world are communicated is formed in the stator; a check valve allowing grease to be injected into the oil cavity is arranged in the first channel; a second channel is further arranged in the stator; one end of the second channel is communicated with the oil cavity of the non-sealing bearing; the other end of the second channel is communicated with the first channel; an opening, communicated with the outside world, of the first channel is connected with a pressure relief mechanism through threads; two openings of an existing oil inlet pipe and an existing oil discharge pipe are combined into one opening, and the number of the openings is decreased; and meanwhile, pressure, waste gas and waste oil in the oil cavity can be automatically discharged through the pressure relief mechanism.
