The invention relates to a novel aircraft carrier landing arresting device. The novel aircraft carrier landing arresting device comprises a cross beam, a movable bent shaft, a tensioning spring, a lifting rod and magnet blocks, wherein the cross beam is arranged on the belly of an aircraft carrier; the cross beam is connected with the movable bent shaft; the tensioning spring is arranged in the movable bent shaft; the tensioning spring sleeves the upper end of the lifting rod; and the lower end of the lifting rod is connected with an insulating cross rod and the magnet blocks. Before an aircraft of a pilot lands on the carrier, the lifting rod and the magnet blocks are put down first, and then the magnet blocks are electrified so that the magnet blocks instantaneously become electromagnets to generate a strong attraction force; when the aircraft lands on the carrier, the electromagnets attract a steel plate of a carrier runway so that the steel plate on the carrier runway is sucked to support the aircraft and prevent the aircraft from advancing; and at the moment, the pilot closes a power supply for the electromagnets, the attractions of the magnet blocks are greatly weakened, the pilot lifts up the lifting rod and the magnet blocks, and the aircraft is released from the attraction of the magnets to be moved to the proper place.
