The invention relates to a ship thruster, in particular to an oval-tube-shaped ship thruster. The oval-tube-shaped ship thruster comprises an engine, a propeller and an oval-tube-shaped shell. The engine is installed on the outer edge of the oval-tube-shaped shell through a support, an output shaft of the engine is connected with the propeller, and an acute angle is formed between the rotating plane of the propeller and the open direction of the oval-tube-shaped shell. The cross section of the oval-tube-shaped shell is an oval, the long axis of the oval is slightly larger than the diameter of the propeller, and the length of the oval-tube-shaped shell is slightly larger than the diameter of the propeller. The propeller is completely located inside the oval-tube-shaped shell and can flexibly rotate in the oval-tube-shaped shell. Compared with a traditional ship thruster, the upstream area of the thruster is much smaller with the same flow rate, and the oval-tube-shaped ship thruster is high in efficiency and small in resistance.
