The invention discloses a forklift shovel arm extension rod. The forklift shovel arm extension rod is characterized in that two longitudinal rectangular square tubes arranged in parallel are connected with each other through two transverse connecting square tubes arranged in parallel; one end of a suspender is connected with the middle parts of the upper portions of the connecting square tubes; the two sides of each connecting square tube are welded with triangular stiffening plates connected with the suspender; stiffeners are longitudinally arranged in the middle part of the upper plane of the suspender; lifting hooks are arranged on a suspender body of the suspender. According to the arrangement, the forklift shovel arm extension rod is connected with a shovel arm of a forklift through the rectangular square tubes, so that the length of an existing forklift arm is greatly extended; the hoisting of linear cargoes can be achieved; in addition, the safety of the hoisting operation is ensured.
