The invention provides a self-adaption rope tightening device. The self-adaption rope tightening device comprises a base, and a wedge-shaped block is arranged in the base; a steel wire rope penetrates a way between the base and the wedge-shaped block; an upper pressing plate is arranged at the upper ends of the base and the wedge-shaped block, and a lower pressing plate is arranged at the lower ends of the base and the wedge-shaped block; an upper mounting plate is arranged on the outer side of the upper pressing plate, and a lower mounting plate is arranged on the outer side of the lower pressing plate; and a trapezoid lead screw is arranged at the rear end of the wedge-shaped block, and a positioning nut is arranged on the trapezoid lead screw. The whole rope tightening device is connected with equipment through a pin shaft, and can freely rotate, and under the effect of tension of the steel wire rope, the position of the whole device can be automatically adjusted, so that the steel wire rope is only affected by the tension and clamping force without force in other directions, and the steel wire rope cannot be bent and broken.
