The invention discloses a novel quick safety fall-preventing elevator power mechanism. By means of the elevator power mechanism, the problems of existing traction type elevators on the aspects of safety, stop accuracy, and manufacturing and installation cost are solved. The elevator power mechanism comprises a dynamic loading mechanism, a spiral lifting mechanism for lifting the dynamic loading mechanism, and a guiding mechanism for providing a motion track for the dynamic loading mechanism. The spiral lifting mechanism comprises a fixing frame and a cam bearing follower fixed in the vertical direction of the fixing frame. The dynamic loading mechanism is located in the fixing frame and movably connected with the cam bearing follower. The guiding mechanism is arranged on one side of the fixing frame and connected with the dynamic loading mechanism. The dynamic loading mechanism and the spiral lifting mechanism are in spiral rotating fit, so that damage caused by gravitational acceleration is effectively eliminated, and the greatest potential safety hazard is avoided for elevators.
