The invention relates to an elevator traction machine base and belongs to the field of elevator equipment. The elevator traction machine base comprises a machine base body. Reinforcement blocks are arranged on the two sides of the machine base body respectively. Foundations are arranged at the bottom ends of the reinforcement blocks. The top and bottom of the machine base body are provided with reinforcement ribs respectively. According to the elevator traction machine base, the stress structure of an existing traction machine is changed through the reinforcement ribs, the weight of the machine base is reduced, the overall strength of the machine base is improved through the reinforcement ribs arranged at the upper and lower ends, and materials and cost are saved.
