The invention discloses an ice-prying type icebreaker. The head portion of an icebreaker body is provided with an icebreaker bow (4) with taper type molded lines. The inside of the icebreaker bow is provided with intermediate frames and anti-ice crisscross structures which are connected with the icebreaker bow in a welded mode. The side of the icebreaker body is provided with a large flare angle structure. The buoyancy force of water to ice does not need to be overcome and an ice-breaking mode that the icebreaker has an auxiliary ice-breaking force from bottom to top is applied. According to the ice-prying type icebreaker, a mode that ice is broken from bottom to top is adopted, so that the buoyancy force of water to an ice layer does not need to be overcome, and labor is saved compared with an existing ice-breaking mode; the resistance of the ice to sailing is reduced; the ice-breaking efficiency is improved.
