The invention discloses a highway monitor, which comprises a detection module and a monitoring module. The detection module comprises a speed detection module, a mileage detection module, a data processing module, a wireless transmitting module, a storage module, a voice prompt module and a display module. The monitoring module comprises a data checking module, a wireless receiving module and a control module. A charging card and the monitoring module are integrated as a monitoring device. Therefore, the monitoring effect is realized by the monitoring device itself instead of any other auxiliary device for monitoring vehicles, and then the abnormal data are transmitted to a monitoring center. At the same time, the charging condition is calculated according to pre-stored data and data detected in real time and the effective real-time monitoring is realized. In this way, the monitoring cost is lowered and the monitoring quality is improved.
