The invention discloses a method for distributing identity document (ID) for an elevator control local area network controller area network (CAN) bus device, which comprises steps: a slave device reads elevator work numbers through a main control plate and stores elevator work numbers, sends ID application packets of a CAN bus to an upper computer through a trunk device, the ID application packets comprise temporary ID and elevator work numbers, the upper computer is based on the received ID application packets, and distributes effective ID for the slave device, the upper computer sends the ID distribution data packets to the slave device through the trunk device, the ID distribution data packages comprise the effective ID, the temporary ID and the elevator work numbers, and the slave device automatically collocates effective ID according to the received ID distribution data packets. The method for distributing ID for the elevator control local area network CAN bus device automatically distributes the effective ID through the slave device, and is more convenient and rapid in appliance.
