The invention discloses an underwater monitoring system. The system comprises a multifunctional submersible and a plurality of detection sound transmission cylinders installed on a seaborne mobile base. The multifunctional submersible is of a longitudinal double-body structure including an upper boat body, a lower boat body and a connection body. The rear end of the upper boat body and the rear end of the lower boat body are each provided with a propeller, a rudder is arranged at the rear end of the connection body, and horizontal wings are arranged on the two sides of the connection body respectively. A telescopic column and an equipment shell are arranged at the front end of the upper boat body, the two sides of the connection body are each provided with multiple outer hanging racks, and the front end of the upper boat body and the front end of the lower boat body are each provided with a sonar detector and an omni-directional camera. A computer, an automatic attack system, a Beidou navigation system, an automatic control system, a water pressure and depth sensor and the like are arranged in the upper boat body. Multiple sonar detectors, an electronic detector and a camera are arranged on the outer side of the seaborne mobile base. The underwater monitoring system has the advantage that the multifunctional submersible can monitor and destroy attacks of torpedoes, underwater mines and frogmen from enemies on the seabed periphery of the seaborne mobile base.
