The invention discloses a head-up display system based on the electrowetting technology. An EFD screen of the electrowetting technology is adopted as display media, and therefore the head-up display function is achieved; and due to the fact that an EFD performs reflective display, no backlight source is needed, a good display effect can still be achieved under strong light, the EFD is superior to a traditional projection type display screen and a TOLED display screen in the aspect, and electricity is saved to a great extent. According to the system, information such as the vehicle speed, navigation and the engine rotating speed is displayed through the EFD, display can still be clear under strong light, ghosting is avoided, electricity is saved, a driver can see clearly the information at a glance under the condition that normal driving of the driver is not delayed, the driver does not need to lower his/her head to see an instrument panel and a navigator, and the driving comfort degree and driving safety are improved. Data interaction is completed through a Bluetooth wireless communication protocol, and no extra in-vehicle wiring is needed.
