The invention discloses a traction type electric car charging method and a charging station. The method comprises the steps that a turbocharged engine drives a permanent magnet generator to convert heat energy into electric energy, and the electric energy emitted by the generator is directly used for charging a storage battery of an electric car after being rectified by an electric car charger; and the turbocharged engine, the permanent magnet generator and the electric car charger are installed in a box, the box is installed on a frame with a vibration reducing function, and the frame is connected with the electric car in a traction manner. The charging station comprises the frame. A traction rod is arranged at one end of the frame. The box is arranged on the frame, and the turbocharged engine is arranged in the box. The turbocharged engine is connected with the permanent magnet generator. The permanent magnet generator is connected with the electric car charger, and the electric car charger is connected with a charging plug. The traction type electric car charging method and the charging station achieve the purpose that the pure electric car can be fast charged in the running process and has the beneficial effects of being simple in structure, convenient and fast to use, safe and reliable.
