[Problem] To ensure that the distance of the movement path is not limited by the pitch of the magnets. [Solutions] A moving body (1) is provided with a first position detection unit (12A) which detects the position of the moving body (1) by detecting the magnetic poles of the magnets (3), and a second position detection unit (12B) which is arranged in a position in the movement direction of the moving body (1) different from that of the first position detection unit (12A) and which detects the position of the moving body (1). When the first position detection unit (12A) is positioned in an irregular interval, i.e. an interval in which the arrangement of the magnetic poles of the magnets (3) is not regular, a control unit (13) of the moving body (1) specifies the position of the moving body (1) on the basis of the position detected by the second position detection unit (12B).
